The house located at 3255 Darbyshire Dr was the 1st house to sell located next to the school walkway since the No Parking Signs were put back up on August 21, 2024 (First Day Of School).
Per the chart below, the house was appraised at $389,777 and listed on 09/20/2024. Because of the traffic and parking issues in front of the house the price dropped all the way down to $355,000 losing $34,777 in value.
This shows that the school walkway is the problem, and it does not increase property values as some people have stated.
No one is going to pay the appraised value for a house where 9 months out of the year, 2 times a day, parents are parked in your front yard (see Darbyshire Dr Blocked and Cameron Rd Blocked).
If you have to leave your house between the hours of 8 am and 9 am or 3 pm and 4 pm you probably will not get out of your driveway because someone will be parked in front of it blocking you from leaving (see Driveways Blocked).
